“Nana” Nancy Ladd is the owner of Nana’s All Natural Foods. She founded Nana’s out of sheer passion and absolute necessity.
Nancy’s love of food and cooking began at age seven, when she experimented with recipes in her mother’s kitchen.
As a young adult, she avidly explored many avenues of healthy cooking and eating – including vegetarian and macrobiotic diets. She put her cooking skills to work as a caterer, developing her own recipes and teaching cooking classes. She felt strongly that people should know exactly what they’re eating – and that creating food for others was a promise to keep their health and happiness in mind.
When she became a parent herself, her primary dedication became creating nourishing yet tasty foods for her family – always using healthy, quality ingredients. She sought ways to work against the usual store-bought brands of ready-made foods and mixes, since they typically relied on high sugar and salt for flavor.
After 40 years of serving healthy, nourishing food, family and friends urged Nancy to sell her creations. Now a grandmother with HOW MANY grandchildren, Nancy was never one to back down from a challenge – and so she launched Nana’s All Natural with her healthy, low sugar granola recipes in 2010.
